Adding a Shipping Surcharge once only

Certain products we have attract a heavy goods surcharge.
This is a one off charge that increases the cost by a set amount. I know how to add a hidden component to the product requested but if you buy multiples of the heavy product you get multiple extra carriage charges.

ie: Standard delivery is £10.00 when you add a heavy item this should increase to £14.00 regardless of the amount you purchase. We do not charge on weight of goods but do on quantity.
