Add to basket from button?

Hello,

I am in the middle of redoing my site and have made a button image to show a thumbnail, more info button and buy now button, however, I thought that I could only set it up so that the visitor would click the whole button image and go straight to another page with more info and an add to basket button. I have just seen this site done in Actinic and they have their buttons set up in the way I originally wanted - http://www.gifts.co.uk/acatalog/Children_Gifts_UK.html - would anyone be able to tell me how they did that?
