session files

Looking at my site with FTP I've noticed that I have about 100ish session files created/opened at 3.24 this morning, another 100ish dated 3.25, another 100ish at 11.27 and a load more at 11.28

any ideas what this is?

Hi Jo,

If you check the session files, you should see , the filename as IP address,. Are they all the same? Maybe you could try to trace back where the IP address comes from?

Have heard about similar issues with badly formed search engine scripts tripping files when spidering the site
