Error deleting ./acatalog/xxx.cart

Have reinstalled site on server - have run the network test and no problems reported. When try to confirm on the order page, the error above is returned (xxx=long cart number). Permissions on directories are all read, write, execute and still the error is shown.

Also all the navigation and logo image references appear to be to the cgi-bin - and none of the images are uploaded to there - why would this be?

Firewall!

Sorted all problems - Norton Firewall getting in the way - turned it off, refreshed site and everything now works fine.

Yes, exactly as you identified. But your customers will not aware this issue therefore I would suggest you to get a patch against this problem from http://www.actinicdownloads.com/v4/index.htm.

Directory Listing not product page

Thanks for the patch advice. I applied it and the previous errors with Norton fixed. However, following the order confirmation page, instead of returning to the product page, I get a directory listing. I have tried altering permissions on the server but without success.

I have got around the problem by installing an index.html file in the directory with a link back to my product page (fortunately there is only one product page) but this is not particularly elegant.

Any solutions?
