limiting separate delivery address options to customer group

Hi all,

I want to set up actinic so that my everyday customers can only enter one address (both delivery and invoice) but for a customer group to be able to use both an invoice address and a different delivery address (basically we are drop shipping goods for them)

However, I've enabled the allow user to select or enter new address option but this does not generate a form on checkout.

I guess that its down to the fact that I have disabled a different shipping address option globally.

Any advice?

Hi Ken,

Disabling the option to allow shipping to a different address globally would not affect how the customer account is setup. Edit the customer account and on the 'Account' tab uncheck the option 'Only invoice address' and then on the Buyers tab under Invoice address choose the same option 'Allow User to Select or Enter New Address'. Update website and the logged in customer would get prompted to enter a different address if need be.
