I have a catalog V7 and I have created some products with options. These options are the same product as the main item but in bulk packs. I have used V3 before and in that you created a drop down list and child products associated with each list item to adjust price etc and the order took the properties such as weight from those invisible child products. In V7 I have added them as per the instructions and the lists show and the prices are right, only for the bulk packs the weight is that of the single product. In V7 is does not require child products and only suggests using them if you are using the stock levels sections.
Can I get the weight of each option to be different so that the shipping is right and will this mean creating child products and associating them with the option?
