I am trying to edit the actinicorder.pm file but get a message saying it is too large for notepad. What other program can I use to edit this without corrupting the code with other formatting?

Personally I use UltraEdit, but I'm sure there's lots of others out there also.

I have front page but that wont open this file. I dont really want to buy yet more software, since I only need to modify one line.

you simply need a text editor. have you got wordpad on your PC?

Otherwise try something like http://sourceforge.net/projects/notepad-plus/
