Help with Quantity orders please !

Can anyone advise me please...
I want to set up products that have a different price dependant on quantity -~EG
100 for £10,
500 for £45,
1000 for £80.

So far so good ?
How do I set it up so that a customer wanting 800 gets:
3 x 100 @ £10 and 1 x 500 @ £45 - £75 total
rather than 8 x 100 @ £10 - £80 total.

Any advice please for a confused newbie ??

This is probably easiest done by treating each packaging as a separate product.

The customer would then choose the quantity of each packaging they want and be charged accordingly - I have just answered a thread today about setting up different quantity for different weight of the same product - check that one out. http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=22554
