Actinic Database Backup Error

Just had an error message whilst attempting a Database Backup in v7:

Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

Never happened before. Any ideas?

The "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)" error normally means windows thinks the database file is corrupt in some way, or the hard drive may have errors. Can you still open the database in Access / open Actinic successfully?

Yes, all seems to work fine in Access.

Firstly backup your database. (make a copy in Windows Explorer if you can't do it from Actinic)
In Actinic Purge your content and compact.
If that still doesn't help then you could try a compact and repair in MS Access.
