Simple Search Inaccurate Results ?

Hi,

Can anybody tell me what the simple search actually searches on, as I'm getting some pretty bizzare results that are just not accurate i.e type in a product name and get a completely different product returned along with lots of other unrelated stuff ??

The site isn't live yet so no URL, and I'm running business v7.05

AFAIK the search index is created when you upload to a web space, so not sure what would be used to return results if you have not uploaded yet.

Where are you testing?

I'm running a local webserver and testing it there first to iron out these bugs before publishing to the world ......

OK - to actually answer your original question, if you go to View | Seach Settings, there are a series of tabs where you decide what you want included in the search index.

One ticky box too many causing all my frustration, thanks for the pointer, I had looked & looked at this but couldn't see it staring me in the face.
