Actinic.pm (from Site1) is written to the servers cgi-bin as al000001.pm.

If you change Actinic.pm it should be re-uploaded automatically. Are you sure you're changing the one in your Site folder?

      Hi Norman,

      Yes.

I have use your script for a while now.
I have checked the offline copy in textpad which has changed fine but actinic refuses to upload it for some reason.
When i delete it from my site 1 folder, this then will not upload as it is missing.
I do not want to do a refersh as this takes around 3 hours, its a massive site.
      What do you suggest Norman.

      Thanks.

      Wayne.

The al000001.pm in your Site folder is what Actinic generates from Actinic.pm and uploads to the cgi-bin. So check al00001.pm and see if it contains your mod's. If so it's safe to manually FTP it into cgi-bin (keep the original one safe just in case).

PS are you sure the modified filename is Actinic.pm (it should have a capital A - that may be important).

Make sure it FTP's as type ASCII as this is important for Perl scripts.
