Image Compressing

Hi there

I think I may be wishing for too much here but let's give it a go ...........

Some of our sections have a large quantity of products, in the region of 200, all with an image.

Is there any quick way of compressing these images to enable us to put them all in one section without the page taking yonks to load.

At the moment we've split them up into A-E F-J etc. but have seen that some of our competitors selling the same products have got them all on one page.

Image optimisation can be done using most programs such as Photoshop, Elements, Paint Shop etc several of them have a batch processing facility to speed things up.

Try doing a forum search as this are has been discussed in depth.
