    Cell Padding & Cell Spacing problem

    I am experiencing unexpected spaces being added to my brochure pages which are ruining the composition. Here's the home page:

    http://www.greeneyegear.com/acatalog/index2.html

    I have created the page by inserting commented out HTML into a Text only Fragment. Looking at the source code of the generated page I see that Cell Padding has changed to 1 and the Cell Spacing has changed to 5 despite them both being set to zero in my code.

    Is there somewhere in Actinic where you can set the cellspacing and cellpadding for the overall layout?

    You are seeing the standard settings for Act_TextAndTitle.html or Act_TextOnly.html fragment templates - did you change whichever one you are using in the site folder?

      Thanks Bill. I have done that now but my problem remains. I see that Actinic is inserting an additional <BR> at the top of the code. Is there a way to stop it doing this?

      The other element that is causing the unwanted gap seems to be:
      <!-- NETQUOTEVAR:REGISTEREDLOGIN -->

      Can I remove this without causing any adverse affects?

        If you don't need any login faclities on your site then you can remove that - I think it should also remove the break.
