Image Folder - Quick Q

Does anyone know if it is possible to have actinic drop all images into an image folder on the server? I want to have all the web pages in /acatalog and for example, have all images in ..\images or similar.

Currently, we have 2+ images per product and our hosting company truncates folder content (via FTP) to 2500 items. Removing the images from the /acatalog folder would resolve the issue of not being able to see the full folder contents.

Any pointers would be much appreciated. I'm very happy to edit perl etc if necessary.

I don't think this will be possible. I've never heard of anyone managing this. You may have to consider changing hosting companies if the current one's limits are causing problems.
