    site export error

    Hi folks

    whenever I do a site export I get the following error:

    Errors
    (File ExportFiles.cpp, Line 528) - The file C:\Program Files\Actinic Ecommerce v6\Sites\Site1\Earmark was not found System error 2 - The system cannot find the file specified.
    --------

    this isn't causing any problem as yet - but I would like to know what it is that is causing this error.

    Hi Paul,

    This error can occur in v6 if the 'File/URL' field in the Product Detail's general tab (in Advanced View) is populated and greyed out as the 'Information Link Text' field is empty. The product with the 'File/URL' as 'Earmark.html' will have to be traced down, and any dummy value entered for 'Information Link Text' to enable the 'File/URL' field and delete its contents, then empty the 'Information Link Text' field. Apply the changes, and the snapshot should hopefully work fine now. without this error message appearing. I believe this has been fixed in v7.0.4(..onwards).

      yep, that's what I first thought when this problem arised. however, I've searched the whole catalog for 'Earmark.html' and there isn't one. there used to be though, but I cut it from the catalog.
      still thinking of one...

        It seems to be looking for a file called 'Earmark' rather than 'Earmark.html'. If you have Access you can search the 'Products' table within the 'ActinicCatalog.mdb' database for a reference to 'Earmark'.
