Has Anyone Ever Produced an Actinic Book??

Hi All

Was just wondering if anyone out there has ever found a good Actinic reference book - or design tips book with screenshots etc?

I'm not knocking the forum as it's top class, and have downloaded a hard copy of the advanced users guide and have the book that came with business v7 which seems to cover most situations fully - I just like having good reference books to hand !!

I don't think a book written by me would make you much money ... books written by programmers don't generally make for exciting reading.

I think someone might be writing one though.

If anyone out there reading this is writing an actinic book, i think having lots of screenshots would be nice. I think they make people more confident when using a new program !!!

I have started to write something, although it will not be specific to actinic as there are plently of guides written by actinic themselves. This sentiment is coupled with the fact that if it were full of screen shots it would need to be updated too often, hence it becomes an unsupportable monolith.

What I have in mind is not a guide to the software but a guide to running an ecommerce venture (using actinic as an example piece of software), and thus covers day to day running, how to accept credit cards, how to present product images and descriptions, how to market etc etc.

Having said that I started this venture 18 months ago and to date have completed 2 chapters! so it may be ready for V9
