Users being able to upload images

I would like users to be able to post images and text to a website instantly without the intervention of the publisher? However I would like to be able to delete any unsuitable text or images.

This is for an online art gallery. The gallery is free to post three images but requires payment for more? Is it possible to insert a payment facility for a paying gallery also which is again automated?

Thank you in advance for any assistance?

What's the gallery running on, PHP gallery script?, HTML?, Actinic? Is there a url you can post?

Sorry been away. Thanks for your reply:

At the moment I am using actinic and I am manually inserting images into fragments! Please see the following link as requested:

      Thanks again

It would be fairly easy to find a PHP uploader and get it installed, but Im guessing it would take some very complex programming to get the image and text to show up in Actinic, even if it's possible.

I would suggest a separate gallery script, something like PhotoPost, which is a forum that can be moderated - I think you can set it up for admin approval of uploads. The website is at http://www.photopost.com/ and you can see live sites from the "Sites in Action" link. I set one up for a client at http://www.fishbrain.biz/photos/index.php and it wasn't too bad a job although, mainly because of time constraints, I did get PhotoPost to do the initial installation.

I've written an image upload add on that incorporates the uploaded image into a product display. You might be able to use this to have "Products" that accept the uploaded image. These only get the images onto your server, you'd still need to do some work (possibly manually) to add them to the gallery pages.

See www.drillpine.biz/actinicstuff for details or http://www.drillpine.biz/v7imageuplo..._Products.html for a demo.

That's cool! I'll file it away for possible future use on a job.
