Hide on website - Ticked from Excel value?

Hi,
I'm using V6 at the moment and would like to know how (if it's possible) to add a field into our master stock excel file to enable/disable the 'Hide on Website' feature.

Basically, I want to be able to have a column that... if it is set to '1' (or more than 0), the item will be shown on the website and if it is set to '0' it will not be shown on the website.

Or Ideally, if the stock column is '0' for that particular product it will not show on the website. At the moment it will show as 'Out of Stock' if stock is set at '0'.

Any help and advice would be greatfully received.

have you looked at the documentation in the help files that tells you what values to set your import file to.

Thanks for the reply. I have seached the help files no end to find how to do this and cant find anything at all about it.

I have already integrated our stock database but just need to know how to make products not apear online if they have a stock value of '0'.

There must be a way?

1 = Yes 0 = No
Default value =0

I now just need to know how to map the field in my excel masterstock file with the actinic database. There seems to be no option for this under the 'External Linking' section.

I have added a column to my masterstock excel sheet which reads '1' if the stock column is set at '0'.

The field is called 'Suppress HTML' in external linking I believe.
