    Automatic import

I need to setup some kind of automated import doo da

Every morning, a tsv file is created from a stock list and this needs to be imported into Actinic and then the site uploaded.

It would (obviously) be very useful if this could be handled automatically

    any thoughts?

You could perhaps link to an external file. See the Actinic Help - External Linking.

I've used some keyboard macros before now to do this sort of job.
these programmes are readily available on the net.

I've just searched google for "mouse replay keyboard macro" and the first one it came up with was a free trial and costs $25 - you can even password protect the macro to prevent other people playing.

this might not help with import - I would expect the majority of products to be already available within actinic and then the import to be just minor ammendments to prices etc together with any new products, rather than containing the entire database of products in the external file

I can recommend Iolo's MacroMagic - I've used this a lot in the past, not in connection with Actinic but I see no reason why it shouldn't work fine.
