Uploading site - CGI

Would appreciate someones help on this:

The more I keep trying different paths the more it doesn't make sense

Using the upload wizard I reach this part below which automatically populates with my URL followed by /cgi-bin

The wizard needs to know the address or "URL" of your cgi-bin directory . This address helps it locate the CGI scripts that maintain the shopping cart. The address should start with "http://".

From there on in the wizard continues to report an incorrect path to the CGI-BIN and I can't go any further. *(The report error is 404)

This path looks correct to me when i view the directory, am i missing something obvious?

Welcome Jim.
Have a search on the forum for 'network settings' and also for the name of your host.
Have you successfully tested your network settings under Advanced|Network Setup - Test?
If you still have problems post your network settings (minus passwords and usernames), the name of your host, the hosting package you have as well as the type (Linux or Windows) and someone may be able to compare with their working settings. Also post any Network Test error messages.
