    A useful "system bug"?!?

    Hi

I have a top level section page (http://www.kjbeckett.com/acatalog/by-brand.html) that lists all the sub-sections within my "By Designer" section.

Some how (without trying) I have managed to break the system and make it do something that I raised a thread enquiring about, 18 months ago (http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=12439). But I dont know how I did it?!?

Many of my designers carry accross multiple pages however on my top level page I only wanted to show the first link (I wanted to hide the other pages). I managed to remove the link but this still left a blank space where the page was. For an example see the Robert Charles logo which is followed by 3 blank spaces (the 3 other Robert Charles pages). However also see KJ Beckett logo which is only followed by 1 blank space (despite there being another 2 pages).

I cant figure out why the system is not showing the other 2 blank spaces? The pages of Robert Charles and KJ Beckett are both the same?

I'm not sure if this is clear - but I am trying to figure out why the Robert Charles blank areas are appearing but the KJ Beckett pages are not?

    Any ideas?

    Paul,

Perhaps it is due to the structure of the section. Does the KJ Beckett Section have 2 sub-sections that contain the Next/Previous links? The 'Robert Charles' section is showing the blank spaces because it is a parent section too just without the section image, try creating 'Robert Charles1' and 'Robert Charles2' as sub-sections of the 'Robert Charles' section and that should remove the extra space.

    Kind regards,

      Hi Bruce

      Thanks.

But, no the sections are all top-level sections (no subsections). You can see this by looking at the site-map http://www.kjbeckett.com/acatalog/sitemap.html which displays the structure.

I just cant work out why the KJ Beckett pages aren't displaying? Its great. I wish I could replicate it for all the other page 2, page 3 and page 4s I have created.

Note - there is one blank space behind the KJ Beckett logo (http://www.kjbeckett.com/acatalog/by-brand.html). I think this is for page 5 which I created very recently.

        Paul,

We will need to see a snapshot to determine how you managed the feat. I would suggest raising a support ticket so that a member of the team can request a snapshot of you.

        Kind regards,
