    Stock Monitor

I raised this issue last year but as far as I can see there's no fix available...

When importing products / stock levels from Sage via Link all products which you have set "stock monitoring" to off are set to on, this means that any non-stock item from Sage is marked as OUT OF STOCK on the website.

The enlightened would say disable stock monitoring in your Actinic settings, well that doesn't work either... the only work around is to set the default "disable" to a value like -200 etc. Frankly though that's not good enough...

Has this been fixed in V8 or is there a Sage Link update to sort this? We want to use stock monitoring but right now and from day one it has been circumvented.

    David,

Am checking this with development for you.

    Kind regards,

      1. If you are importing products then you can use the 'Transfer stock enabling' checkbox on Products/Sections tab of the profile

If you select this box, then your 'Stock' items will have stock monitoring enabled in Actinic, and your 'Non-Stock' items won't.

      2. If you are importing stock levels only then the STOCK CHECKS ENABLED
flag is not set at all so it should use the actual product settings

This works in both v7 and in v8 and had been tested by development.
