    Missing Images

I have a site running V 4.1.1 and it is patched for the Norton Firewall problem so I dont get the 'Error Deleting' warning. Everything was fine until I upgraded to Norton Internet security 2003 and now when I add to basket or go to checkout all the images are missing from the pages although it seems to work fine. I know its Norton cos I've tried it on 2 sites and they work when Norton is disbaled.

I seem to remember this problem but can't find it in the archives. Any info would be wonderful.

What is the URL of the v4 store you have a question about? (the store at http://www.burstingwithhealth.co.uk/ is v5)

      There are 2 sites

      http://www.head2toes.co.uk
      http://www.harvest-gold-wholefoods.co.uk

These both have missing images with Norton Internet Security enabled.

The strange thing is that another site on the same installlation as Harvest Gold Wholefoods doesn't show the problem

I would suggest trying out a few v5 and v6 sites at random (most of the example sites at http://www.actinic.co.uk/ are v5 and v6) and see if they exhibit the problem. At least that will help us isolate whether we are looking at a v4 issue or a general NIS issue.

Other than that, I have no suggestions. You can register an email support query free of charge at http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.htm and the team there can investigate more thoroughly.

I registered the problem and Actinc replied advising I patch the site, but I've already done this.

I checked the properties of the missing images and found they were being looked for at the root of my site rather than in the acatalog directory.

As a work around I just FTPed the images to the root of my site and they now appear. Not Ideal but it works
