Link to Quickbooks Problem

We're using ActinicLink and Quickbooks US Premier 2004 and having a great deal of trouble...

We're following the instructions in the 50+ page instruction manual but keep getting the following error message when we try to download orders to QB.

"in XML processor; Error in Item InventoryAddRs while processing 300114; The name '300114' of the list elelment is already in use."

300114 is our item code in both Actinic and QB. And it will always in in use b/c it's in our items list in QB.

Any suggestions on getting around this problem??

Hi Christa,

Could you clarify if 'assemblies' are being used in Quickbooks ? as its a reported bug. If an order is transferred from Actinic which contains product with with say 'ref prodref1', and there is an assembly item in QuickBooks which has 'Name' prodref1, then the on hand quantity of the assembly item is not decreased we then get this error message.

I'm afraid the only possible workaround for now would be to use groups in QuickBooks.
