    new psp setup

Hi guys, we have just arranged a new credit facility for our website and it seems that the integration is not done by the providers...it either needs to be done by us or we have to pay someone to do it.

i understand this will need some good knowledge of perl/html/cgi.....but does it require a lot of new scripts being created, or is it just a case of modifying current ones.

we have been given an integration guide but it does not seem to offer much..can anyone perhaps point me in the direction of specific files which will need editing to setup these new payment methods and passing it to this new credit facility on another site.

is is just OrderScript.pl and a few html edits or are there several that nedd altering?

anyone who can offer me a bit of advice would be great...perhaps someone who has already set up their own.

I would also find this useful as we have a psp that is not provided and as yet, we still use the invoice to generate.

Pain in the butt, but at least we do not sell 1000's of lines.

To be brutally honest your best bet is to use a PSP thats is already integrated, integration is not for the faint hearted, to buy the integration pack from actinic will cost £1000 to start with. Normally the integration is done by the PSP and Actinic working together, so one place to start is to harrass your PSP into contacting Actinic to find out what is involved

        Hi Jo

Already started the ball rolling with our PSP. I shall post progress as and when. But for now we 'suggest' to our clients to use protx/worldpay et al that are already there.

Just one or two that already have relationships prove tricky to convert.

we are trying to set up able2buy credit facility.....we emailed them and apparently they are going to send up the information we need......it just seems funny thet they supplied us with a name of someone who could help us integrate our site with actinic....and naturally he was chargin loads for it....even though it says on the site that integration is simple and they offer full assistance.
