Advice about Left Hand Navigation Javascript

    Hi

    Re http://www.kjbeckett.com

I currently have a left hand nav that has 3 sections that expands and collapse to show a list of sub-sections.

I have been trying to add some further functionality that would allow me to have a list of slide out options when the user hovers over the subsections (after expanding the subsection link).

For example - user clicks on By Product (to expand the list of product sections) - this happens already - but then when the users hovers over Socks I would like a list of sock options (links) to slide out to the right.

Can anyone recommend if this can be done or where I may be able to find examples of code?

    Kind regards

You could use on of Norman's menu systems to do this I think - see more details of these at his website http://www.drillpine.biz/actinicstuff/index.html

      Hi Jan

Many thanks. Unfortuanately I don't think Norman's donationware is suitable on this occasion.

When I set-up the original left hand nav I had to hard code it as I do not want all of the subsections to appear - only selected ones.

I think Norman's menu system picks out all of the subsections (which makes sense).

I think I will have to hardcode this one (which is not a problem as the subsections rarely change). The problem is my needs have now surpassed my very basic understanding of java.

If manual control of the menu is the order of the day, then http://www.apycom.com/ have a ton of menu systems to pick from
