Section Images

Help!!!, i want to display images for each section in my shop, however when i select the standard link layout with image on the left...nothing, no product image, just the text. i have made sure the image only buttons in design \ options \ layout is unchecked but still nothing, if i choose image only for each section none of my products appear..., any ideas?

Are you entering the image name against each section in the "general" tab against image?
