    Lost sales at failed check out

    Actinic Business 5.1.6 and Catalog 4

    I am having recurring problems with customers complaining that having assembled

    their shopping basket, they are unable to complete the purchase and receive a

    "Page Expired" error message.

    This is annoying as for every one who contacts you to tell you, there must be a

    lot more that shop elsewhere.

    Sadly, no one, including Actinic's tech support seem to have an answer.

    Is there anyone else experiencing this and knows the answer?

    As far as I know the "page expired" message is only displayed when you navigate between the pages by using the browser's navigation buttons rather than the ones on the checkout pages. If your customers do not aware this then it may worth putting up some text to the checkout pages which informs your buyers.
