Question about Actinic Catalog

I have actinic catalog.

can i install it in two different machines?

if yes, can i use one for updates on the catalog / template pages and the order for order processing?

Yes you can - many people manage thier site in exactly that way.

This does work, but the things to watch out for are :

Stock control - this doesn't work when you use split order processing
Customer Accounts - these are harder to create, because by default you would create the account on the order processing machine but need to transfer it over to the upload machine to make it live
Offline ordering = if you want to use this you need to keep the catalog on both machines up to date using snapshot, otherwise changes made to the online catalog will not be reflected in offline ordering.
