    ssl padlock problem

ive seen various post on this but cant seem to fix my own problem

    my site is http://www.traintobealocksmith.com

this domain name points to http://www.locksmith-tools.co.uk/NewCourses

so the first domain name shows the content from the second.....

now my problem is with the padlock not displaying......i am not using frames....my padlock displays for a few moments when it asks you to display or not to display non-secure items but whichever option you chose.....it disapears.

i am using ssl on whole site....if i type directly the url
    https://sslrelay.com/locksmith-tools.co.uk/NewCourses/

i get the padlock...but if i go through the forwarded domain http://www.traintobealocksmith.com/

it doesnt display...i have tried checking the box not to use frames and using frame break javascript but doesnt work.

i think it may be to do with the refpage added onto the end of the url for the checkout

    https://sslrelay.com/locksmith-tools..._Module%2ehtml

because we already have ssl and the padlock working on another site which does not show the refpage extension.

i cant seem to find and form related hardcoded http links.....what am i missing?

    help me plzzz

what is the actual domain that the SSL cert has been issued too?

is it your own SSL cert or a shared one

we are using 1 ssl certificate for the domain name http://www.locksmith-tools.co.uk

we have 1 acatalog on locksmith-tools.co.uk
and we have 1 on locksmith-tools.co.uk/NewCourses

but they both share the same cgi-bin with different script id's

hope that helps cos im stumped and cant figure it out.

          https://sslrelay.com/locksmith-tools.co.uk/

          https://sslrelay.com/traintobealocksmith.com/

i dont know whether the difference is to do with the provider of the certificate or the payment provider.

unfortunately nor do I, sorry I can't help anymore... I wouldn't expect your own SSL cert to be installed anywhere else than the domain to be secured.

I don't understand where sslrelay comes into it

ok no problem.....do you have any idea about the refpage on the cart url.....this doesnt show on our other site with ssl activated.....i have an incling this is why its not working....because the refpage part on the end reffers to a http page so is not secure.....any ideas on how i remove this.....i dont have any url set for completed and aborted checkout.

i cant find anywhere to take it off?

I think you need to look at the way the SSL has been installed.

if its your own cert it should be at your domain.

who is SSLRelay, this makes me think it is a shared cert.

the ssl certificate was set up a number of years ago...before i even started with the company...our web hosting company is 1and1.

https://sslrelay is what is in as the catalog URL in the network setup.

do you have any idea where the refpage is coming from though??

like i say i believe this is where the problem is coming from....i know its a variable passes by actinic as a refference the the previous page....but its doesnt show on our other site.....is there a way to disable it...if you're not sure...no worries.
