Why is order in PSP pending when payment is received

I have an order sitting in PSP Pending, yet ePDQ and Secure Hosting have the transaction as authorised. Can anyone give point me in the right direction as to why this is?

The site has been running for a while, accepting orders and payments with no problems, and we have not recently changed any settings.

That would happen if the authorisation call back was not received for that particular order or was received and got corrupted so you have not been able to download it. Did you have any issues with downloading orders at around the time of the order that is in PSP pending?

I would suggest manually completing the payment on the order and then look out to see if this happens again, in that case we will need to take a closer look at it.

Strange thing is we've never had this happen before but then it happened too two orders on the same day a couple of days back. All our other orders that day were picked up fine. We're with Secure Hosting as well but I don't think it should be connected to that.

Everything seems normal again now though so fingers crossed it doesn't crop up again.
