    Help w/ version 4 PLEASE

    Hi,

I am new to actinic and was wondering on version 4 if there is a way to make a product "buy one for 9.95, 2 for 14.95" I can't find a way to distinguish between the two. When I set my product up, it just sets up the price as buying one for $14.95. How do I go about doing this, is it even possible? Thanks in advance.

V4 is doesn't allow you to do this easily - V6 allows you to enter prices for different product quantities so the best solution would be to upgrade.

However if you don't want to do that I would suggest adding separate products for the quantities you want OR adding components to an individual product, set the pricing model to sum of components and enter prices, the first component would be buy 1, the second would be buy 2. The problem here is that Actinic will allow them to check both boxes which could cause problems.

create a drop down list ( or buttons) and set the pricing model to sum of products and component prices. . you have to mention the price in the product name this way but it works fine. the choices could then say single widget 9.99 and buy two widgets for 14.99 or something to that effect
Back up and running thanks to help from Actinic community!!
