CDICKEN please help about JPG's Location

    Chris

I noticed from your other reply about where JPG are stored

Could you give me a brief run down of what is stored where as I cannot make head nor tail of my JPG's which seem to be stored all over the place

Should all the originals be placed in MY Documents or as I have been doing added to the site 1 folder

In my experience, you are better off keeping all your files within the Site1 folder.

Do you experience any particular problems when you place your images into Site1 ?

You should put all your images either within Site1 or else within site folders within Site1.

The means Actinic will use relative filepaths within the database (i.e. 'images\product.gif' rather than 'C:\My Documents\images\products.gif').

The advantage of this is when you use a snapshot to move a site from one PC to another, all your image paths will all work straight away.
