I have a large number of products (books) on my site, and have previously tried creating duplicate products so that I can have different categories of products (books) grouped in different sections ie a book that is about clocks may also be in German. So I would create 2 sections "clocks" and "german" and then create in "clocks" and copy a duplicate product into the german section.
The reason I aborted carrying on doing this was that the duplicate product does not actually behave as a duplicate. ie if I amend the show on web, or the description the change does not cascade through the duplicates. The only field which does is the price.
How can I force all the other fields, especially short and full description and appear on web to change also when the master is changed?
