one of the required scripts is missing from the website...

ok, i'm just translating here since i got the french version. Anyway, if I update the site I get an error, during the 'sending files to catalog' part of the process, stating that one required script is not present from the website. Actinic is wise enuff to keep me guessing. so, like, wtf? I've checked the content of the cgi-bin directories of both the live server and the local 'dev' server and they contain exactly the same files.
I did, however, upgrade my perl setup, could that be a potential cause for this particular problem?

any help would be appreciated

i'd go to the original folder, copy all the pl and pmfile from there into site1 and try again

SOLVED. Reason: Apache misconfiguration; I had set it to look in the wrong cgi-bin directory.
