    meta keyword layout

    hello,

simple q. does it make a difference if i put in a space after the comma after the the keyword in the meta keyword text box, or do i write the keyword then comma then next keyword? par exemple: shoe, shoes, mens shoes, etc or shoe, shoes, mens shoes,

    hope its clear

Don't think it makes any difference - maybe someone can clarify - I tend to use spaces as it is easier for me to read when typing and I never need the character count occupied by the space

It does not really matter what you use as the SEs tend to view commas as a space.

Don't use the same keyword more than 3 times. Use keywords that occur in your Title Tag and Description Tag. Use only 200 characters for all your keywords. Use different keywords for all your pages. Only use keywords that are relevant to your site. Use lower case letters. Use the single and plural forms of your keywords. Use commas or spaces between your keywords or keyword phrases

Malcolm - is this still necessary with stemming?

Not really as the plural is usually recognised for both, this is true of Google but the others I think are not there yet.

It depends what SEs you are targeting - if google then only bother with plural if all SEs then I would use both.

I always tend to use both - belt and braces - but always useful to get the experts opinion
