    Updated fragment not published

    I have a fragment called Customer Comments that is not appearing on my site (it did previously). I've tried refreshing the site, deleting the fragment and creating a new Section and Fragment "Customer Comments & Press Articles". This is has still not been published despite updating and refreshing again.

    Does anyone have ideas about where the problem is and how to deal with it?

    Have you accidentally ticked the 'hide on web site' box?

    I see the section Customer Comments, with a Fragment Customer Comments and fragment text Customer Comments.

        Just found a page with 7 comments at http://www.sandedge.com/acatalog/tes...-Comments.html

        You would seem to have switched into test mode, or forgotten to recheck the Network Setup after moving back into production mode.

          Dear Bill,

          Thanks for the advice. I checked and we were not in test mode, but just to make sure selected and de-selected, uploaded etc, but still no change: fragment still not visible.

          I've looked at the template and everything looks to be there, although I am not a programmer and the code might be altered in some way that's not obvious to me.

            Sue - what about the Catalog URL and cgi-bin URL in Advanced | Network Setup? If the path to catalog still shows /test/acatalog, that needs to be updated.

              Hi
              I've checked this out and it seems o.k.
              My server has suggested cutting the page and purging which I've done.

              I've added some other bits to the site and it appears that I can no longer create a new brochure page although I can add fragments to existing pages.
              Im searching the community for info as well but all responses greatfully received.

                The problem persists. Any ideas?

                I have tried to mitigate the poor impression created by a blank Customer Comments page by in turn deleting & cutting the section, so the section is removed from the content tree, but I cannot get it to disappear from the site. I've updated, purged, refreshed. Until I resolve the root problem does anyone have a solution to this please?

                  What happens if you remove the page from your server, the .html page that is, then make sure that you cannot see it online by going to the page and refreshing it until you get a 404 error and then uploading - you shoudl in theory be able to see it then.

                    Thanks for the suggestion Jan. I'm not sure how to remove the file from the server. Do I have to access the file on the server directly, rather than through the Actinic catalogue management tools?

                    I have noticed that the section title is still present on the brochure templates. Could this indicate some problem, missing code perhaps to update the template when sections are added or removed? I ask this because I have recently added some tracking code and might have over written a section, also Bill suggested a possible code problem.
