How do you change the base price schedule?

Somehow I have managed to change the base price schedule from the default 'Retail' to a new customer group I created called 'test'. In the window 'Discounts and Surcharge Settings' under the TAB Customer pricing my customer groups including the default 'Retail' all use this new group 'test' as the 'base schedule' for pricing.

Can you please advise how I can switch back to 'Retail' as the base schedule so that I can delete the 'test' group.

Hi Peter,

Did you initially make the change in the Database?? You should perhaps undo the change. This is in the database in eh 'Price Schedules' table. The first entry usually is Retail.

Sorting Out 'Customer Groups'

Many thanks Bruce, easy when you know how!! I can't remember how I managed to achieve the Group 'test' as my base price. It was during some experimenting to try and and create an account holder with discounts on my Site 4 which has 30,000 products in it! My experiments failed as it slowed the site down to a standstill. The problem was referred to Development but no work around was available. Thanks again
