Free Delivery for some products

Seasons greetings. Can anyone tell me how or if it is possible to have incremental charges (e.g. £10 product = £2 deliver or £30 = £4 delivery) yet be able to offer some products free of charge?

I hope this is possible - if not Actinic please note!

you can do it if you ship by weight

then you can set the weight of the free items to something like 0.0001kgs

Or even just enter '0' in the weight in kg field.

There is no way in the software to do both shipping by weight and shipping by value I'm afriad. I have indeed 'taken note' and added your request to the wish list.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your response. That method will make for some serious calculations which I dont believe will be entirely possible when you are trying to sell to 'price points' but will have a go.

Actinic - please consider this feature seriously for something soon - the advent of ebooks & the possible inclusion of selling services alongside products needs this form of feature - let alone me just wanting to offer zero delivery charge on some products.
