Protx Deferred payments

    Protx Deferred payments

    We have a protx account and are having problems with customers who do not have the product delivered straight away and we have their money. WE have set up another account with Protx so that the money is held for us and the released when we ship it (Deferred payment). Does anyone know how to configure this in the payment pages in business settings. Thanks

    You can't configure Protx (or any other payment provider) twice.

    Did you really set up deferred payment - which gives you a very limited time in which to complete the transaction - or Pre-Authorised payment - which allows flexibility on the period between order and shipping?

    Neither option actually holds any money (at least not if the banks behave themselves, and follow the rules).

    If you really did set up two Protx accounts for the same website, then you need to talk urgently to Protx about cancelling the latest one and just switching the original to the right payment authorisation mode.

      Just moved our site from Version 7 to V8 and we had setup "Deferred" and "Release" on our Protx account. I did charge some site code in V7 but can't recall what it was. Can someone help?
