    Thumbnail galleries in extended info

    Hi

I am looking to add thumbnail galleries to my extended info pages. At the moment I am hand coding these in dreamweaver and copy and pasting the code in to the extended info box of the products. See: http://www.leonpaulusa.com/fencing/a...e_350N_75.html

This makes altering the pages a pain and does not look very professional/uniform!

Some products need lots of pictures like the jackets on this page others only need one image as they are very simple eg a screwdriver!

Is there any way to either make a nice flexible HTML template to do this or to integrate actinic with some sort of thumbnail gallery generation program?

    Thanks

    Alex

I think you are going to be hard-pushed to do any better in v7 than you are at the moment. I would probably recommend doing exactly as you are now.

You could do this in v8 though. You can create custom fields for anything in Actinic, and then choose how this custom information is laid out.

I'd probably set up a system for this by creating a new field called 'ThumbnailImage' and making settable for choices within Actinic. I would then create a custom choice layout, which inserted this image file. I would then create a custom choice list that laid out all the images within a nice grid. You could then include this list within the extended information window.
