    Correct postal Zones?

    Hi,

Been using the shipping zones for First Class, Standard parcel and also I have PF Zones 5-9, all set in the shipping charges.

I have just updated my First Class section (although I'm not 100% sure if it's correct) but, I am really worried that the Zones are way out on costs. I just came back from the Post office and sent a parcel to Germany and one to Sweden. The weight to Sweden was .280 and cost £2.12 but in the shipping charges on the customer's order it was .260 and the cost was £15.80!

Is there any chance of getting a file to import that has correct charges? I only use the Post Office and don't use a courier company as most of the parcels are small enough for this.

Thanks for any help you can give.

PS: I have set my First Class Parcels at £1 for all weights now from .5 to 1kg and then 89p for .25 increments. Does that sound correct?

    Cheers

    Hi Brian,

You can download the Shipping tables from http://www.actinicdownloads.com/shipping.htm. You can then import that into Actinic.

    Kind regards,

      Hi Bruce,

Thanks for that. But on the page it states, 'Note: The Shipping Import Files are not available for Actinic v6 (or earlier)'.

I am on V6.5.1 so can I import these then or not?

      Thanks bud.

Hi Brian - I'm afraid you can't import these.

There is a difference in how these work between v6 and v7, so we don't produce import files for v6 any more. Sorry about that.

There will be some out of date import files in your 'Site1' folder for Parcel Force. You can import these to get the zones and classes set up correctly. Then the latest values can be downloaded from here.
