    Download Published Site

    Hi there

A while back I published our site and it's working pretty nicely www.cheapdies.co.uk/acatalog. I've been updating info via csv and importing and it's gone wrong with a variety of Syntax Errors so I've imported our most up to date Snapshot but a lot of the twiddly bits aren't included in that. (I know I should've backed it up more regularly but there you go !)

Anyway, I was wondering, is it possible to take the info from the live, published site, twiddly bits an' all and to import it back into the Actinic Program, a kind of Update in reverse ! LOL

Any help would be appreciated we're due to launch the new version on Sunday and I knew something disasterous would happen !

Afraid the online site is destination files as opposed to anything you can import back into Actinic.

Best you can get from the online site is the images which you save as from your site and the test on the pages by copy n pasting etc.

Sadly no. Actinic can't use the data on your website as a kind of reverse upload.

There was some talk of being able to upload an encrypted snapshot to the server when you do an upload as a safety backup but nothing has happened yet.

Do you do a database backup when you exit actinic? If you haven't overwritten it that might be your best bet.

Yep I've got all the data in the csv. Could it be the content in that causing the script error? I think I'll just have to go back to the basic templates and add the twiddly bits in again - one by one - doing a snapshop as I go LOL
