    login problems,

Hi there i have been reading a few threads about creating a customer login function,

So far i am under the impression that actinic does not support this as there is no link to a database such a mysql, and taht you would have to manually enter a customers login details via Customer accounts| then select new account. I gues taht you would just take there details from one of their invoice or billing adres etc. Is this all correct so far?

Also what is the url link / code to put onto the login button, i have manually created a few customer accounts but have not managed to work out how to reach the login page online......?
    regards

Hi Steve - you are right in your assumptions so far: there is no way to create a customer account online.

For the link to the login page, it should be there automatically if you are using Business and you have 'Allow Orders From Customer Accounts' selected in 'Business Settings | Ordering'. If you are not using the standard Actinic navigation bar, then make sure you have NETQUOTEVAR:NAVBLOGIN somewhere in Act_Primary - as this will create the login button.
