      Alan ,

thank you for your help. I contacted Jo Morecroft who suggested a web refresh which I believe has not cured problem .

      sincerely

Derrick - I don't think there's a problem here. ca000001.pl?ACTION=SHOWCART is the address of the 'View Cart' page. Similarly os000001.pl controls the checkout.

A web refresh would cure the problems you had with script errors in the checkout.

But it will not affect your webstats... there are 2 issues here.

Your original question was what do these scripts do, why do they show in my stats. This was answered in the thread you were directed too.

There is no way to stop awstats showing you how many times these scripts are run on your site, in fact it is useful to know this.

            Hi ,

If I click on the web stat it shows '' general script error'' contact etc.....

this will cause any order to be lost ??

the point here is that no-one would normally enter the store at ca000001.pl

people enter the site on a normal html page, not a perl script. When they add to cart they go to ca000001.pl.

However I don't know why awstats shows you have people entering the store at this page, maybe someone else who has awstats can answer this. I feel it is probably an inaccuracy within the stats themselves rather than a true entry point.

Where has this come from? If you just try clicking on a .pl link without being in a store first, you'll probably get script errors like this.

This looks a lot like my awstats. These files do get accessed, albeit indirectly.
