no shopping cart after placing an order

Hi help
never had any trouble in 5 years and now this, anyone help can't up load or refresh site just locks up on sending base files and now we are seeing

"A General Script Error Occurred

Error: Error loading configuration file ../acatalog/A000.cat.

Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner."

after placing something in our basket,

why now why me ....

This can sometimes happen when maybe your webhost has reset permissions on your 'acatalog' folder online. Ask your webhost (or doi it yourself using the CHMOD command in an FTP program) to change the permissions of this folder to 777.

Also, try a 'Web | Refresh Website' command to send up all your files again in case one of them has got mysteriously corrupted.
