will this be a problem to spiders

    Hi
I have just completed customising my navigation bar on my home, brochure and primary templates. On some of the links I have just coded the href=pagename.html without the full path (ie. http://www.testinprivate.co.uk/acatalog/pagename.html).

The reason for doing so would be otherwsie, it would cause problems when downloading a test site!.

My question is, by not providing the full href path, will spiders etc lose their way or not bother indexing those pages.
    Thanks in advance.

SE Spiders will happily follow both relative and absolute addresses.

The footer navigation Products entry on the brochure pages is broken - it points at the current page (on the Brochure home page, it points to brochure home page, on About Us to AboutUs on Drug abuse to drugabuse...)

Either Actinic has completed the paths for you (using the BASEHREF value while constructing the html code) on the other links, or you have not uploaded your changes yet.

Spiders would not get lost, they understand relative addressing - indeed, they expect it and call it internal linking. If anything the use of a full path in an internal link could be considered more unusual, creating what becomes essentially an external link.
