Customer Groups and discounts
We have created a 'Deal of the Day Club'. The idea is for us to be able to email cusomers with a link to a specific product or set of products and for them to see special pricing.
I thoght I had this licked by setting up one account login and applying the pricing to that account. Probelm is then they cannot enter their own address detail etc, as it is already populated with the account info (which cannot be blank).
We currently have 15,000+ subscribbers, so there is no way we can set up an account for each customer. With 50 odd additions to the database daily, we would never cope with the admin.
I want it set up to show the normal retail price and the special price, otherwise they will not know what deal they are getting, so a coupon won't do what I want.
Have I missed something in setting up this discount? Or am I just restricted by the abities of Actinic?
