Please can someone help help urgently - we have a group of products that cost £6.99 each. We want to set up a discount offer so that if you buy any 5, or 5 of the same item you get them for a special offer price of £29.95 so you get £5.00 off.

If you put 5 of the same item in the basket the discount is correct, however if you have 5 different items from that product group then it does not give the correct discount

If all items are the same price, why not create a product group containing all the products, set the discount up as a cart value discount of fixed amount 5.00 based on cart value of 34.95 and restricted to that product group?

Thanks for the suggestion but after spending 45mins on the phone to Actinic technical support we still can’t get it to work. We have had to ftp a snapshot to them so they can look at the problem.

Here’s hoping they can come up with a solution,

Try going to 'Business Settings | Tax' and change the 'Tax Rounding' from 'Round Line Scientific' to 'Round Item Scientific'. That helped another customer who had a similar problem.
