removing confirm button

I have v7 and I need to remove the confirm button on the checkout page can anyone give me some advice as I am going round in circles

The confirm button will be in the basket - not checkout - if you have a quantity in shopping cart or quantity on confirmation page setting as the shopping mode on one or more sections/pages/products [or as default].

If you make sure everything is set to quantity on product then you will not have a confirm button, but the customer can still change the quantity in the basket and update.
